Caroline Black - Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

MSc, DipPsych, BPC(Reg), TSP member, RN(MH) Grad(IPD)

I am a psychodynamic psychotherapist registered with the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). I work remotely and from a small discreet private practice in Petersfield.

My work is  with individuals on an open ended as well as a time limited basis.

I offer a confidential and safe environment in which we can explore together the difficult personal issues and feelings that may be troubling you and preventing you from moving forward with your life.

I have many years of experience working in mental health within the NHS. Combined with this, a rigorous four year training in Intercultural Psychodynamic Psychotherapy with the Tavistock Clinic, has equipped me to work with a wide range of emotional and mental health conditions.

I am also a visiting lecturer at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.

I am passionate about making a difference in the lives of my patients and I have worked with many people from diverse backgrounds and beliefs.

My role as a psychodynamic psychotherapist is to work with you in developing a deeper understanding of yourself. It is not to provide you with quick fixes or answers to your problems.

Through ongoing commitment to regular weekly sessions, there is the possibility for lasting change. I look forward to meeting with you.
